We got our family pictures taken a few weeks back. Erin Sellars, a great girl from Church did them. There are a lot of others, but here are some to look at and enjoy. Hope you like them as much as we did. Gavin can always bring a smile to our faces.

Spring is here!
So, one of the greatest things about Matt and I's jobs is we get to be home with each other. I love how flexible the Courthouse is, and I love having Matt around when he has the chance to do so. And as you can see, Gavin loves it too. Matt was trying to get some work done, but its hard to concentrate with our little man around. So Matt decided to give in for a while, but also teach Gavin that before we get to play, we need to work.
He loves playing with the computer. Anytime he can get his chubby little fingers on the keys he'll do it. It's so funny. Here they are, father and son, workin hard....so cute.
After the work is done, its time to play. So today, (Friday the 18th) was so nice out. I love having a home where we can just go out back and enjoy our yard, our privacy and the beautiful weather. Gavin loves it too. He's still so curious about so many things like bushes, dirt, and grass. I put some balls out for him to play with because he loves those more then dirt. :)
No idea what he's saying here, probably "hi". That's his word of the week. Its hi to everyone. When we go to the gym, the store, church, everyone gets a hi. He's most likely saying hi to the ball at this point.
Okay so he doesn't really look too excited here, but he always does this when Im going to take his picture. He takes after Matt in that way. Matt likes to look serious sometimes when we get our picture taken, I guess its a guy thing. :)
Wearing mama's shades. He is so funny. He took them off, looked at them, then tried to put them back on his head, which according to him is the back side of his head......he kept holding them behind his head then dropping them, wondering why they weren't staying on.

Weekend at the Coast
Last weekend Gavin and I got spend time with my mama and sister at the coast. Gavin really loves playing with all his cousins, even though he does get a little overwhelmed sometimes, he knows them and has such a good time. Daniel especially makes him laugh which is so fun to watch. We had a great time.
Gavin and Ashley, sitting on the bed. Gavin decided he wanted to play with her pacifier since he doesn't take one.
Only Ashley didn't want it back, which of course hurt Gavin's feelings. I love this picture. He looks so funny, and Ashley could care less!
So we decided to let him have some alone time to collect his thoughts, and calm down. It only took about 7 seconds for him to forget what he was upset about. :)
First time ever at the Coast, in the sand and seeing the Ocean.
He was really curious as to why his walking was more difficult here.
He loved playing with it though, and tired to eat it a couple of times. This is him watching his cousin Daniel play on a huge sand slide.
And saying goodbye as the sun set. Gavin and Nathan looking out at the water and watching the birds. It was a really nice weekend and I hope next time Matt can come with! Love you hubbs.

Dream House
So Matt, Gavin and I decided to take a nice walk today because it was beautiful out! Normally we walk around our neighborhood or somewhere close, but today we decided to go someplace new, to have some new surroundings. We drove over to Jory Hill Park which is about 5 miles from our house and started looking at the houses over there. It's really close in town but complete country-farm land. Absolutely beautiful because South Salem is of course, lots of rolling hills, tall tree's, and green grass.
As we turn the corner on this cute country road with homes on 2-5 acres we see a For Sale sign. Its on a paved drive lined with trees blossoming in pink, 3-4 houses total, all of course with 2-3 acres each. We turn down, then low and behold, on the end right-side sits our Dream House. Bam!!! There it is For Sale. Two-story brick with white trim and black shutters, all on 2.06 acres surrounded by trees and grass. It doesn't look really big but I guess it has over 3000 sq feet. It beautiful inside, really perfect..... and one of the best parts is has a chef's kitchen with a commercial sized gas range and hood. Oh be still my heart......
As we were turning around to leave, in the back corner spot there is a huge tree with a homemade swing before one of the open acres of grass. Oh my goodness how we love that house.
Sooooooo, if anyone wants to lend us 700,000 big ones, man that would be really helpful. I promise you can come stay anytime you want, ANYTIME!!!! Until then we'll just keep dreaming. :)
p.s. The pictures don't do it justice, but take a look if you want.

Hungry Little Man
Not a day goes by that this little man doesn't make me smile. He is so funny. I went to get the milk out of the fridge and when I turned around there he was. Just swooped right in and started playing with the eggs.
Totally going for it. Couldn't care less that I'm behind him trying to take pictures. In his own world.
This was taken on Sunday after he ate a fresh cookie. He thought it was a good idea to play the piano with his chocolaty fingers.
Look at him play! A natural musician.

First birthday!!!
Okay, Its been a really long time since I updated. I apologize, I have no good excuse except for the fact that life is crazy and we are loving every second of it. So here are some pictures of Gavin's First Birthday last Friday the 12th. I'm truly amazed at how fast this past year has gone by.
Trying, trying, trying to get him to eat something. He was starting to get really sick so our boy didn't want to have anything to do with food. I felt so bad for him.
Sitting with Grandpa before the party started. Grandpa knows how to make him feel better.

Happy but still not feeling well. Such a good boy though, a real trooper.
Jenilyn put this all on his face. Poor sick little man.... he really didn't want anything to do with food. Our little guy puts up with so much being a member of our family. :)
They tried playing with it too, but he was more interested in feeding her and the other kids then eating it himself.
Aunt Sissa and Gavin hanging out. Can you tell how excited he is?! He went to bed right after everyone left and he slept so well.
This is Carmen and Molly, one of Gavin's best friends. I love this picture. They are so cute.
I love this picture because all the kids, ALL of them flocked over to Justen who is one of our best friends. He's single and doesn't have any kids but he handeled it very well.....after a little hyperventilation. :)
So besides Gavin getting sick his birthday went over really well. He got a ton of toys and clothes. Our friends and family were so thoughtful and generous. We feel so grateful for such wonderful people in our lives.

Sunday Walk
After Church, Matt and I took Gavin for a walk through a beautiful neighborhood by an elementary school. There are a ton of trees with leaves changing colors, and it smelled sooo good. On the way we met Cooper. He is a Leonburg, and weighs 179 lbs.

Buuuuuttt..... I think we'll hold off on getting a dog for now. Although he LOVES dogs and gets so excited when he see's one, you can see he doesn't know what to do with Cooper. Gavin just looked at him wide-eyed and probably wondered if he was a horse.
It was such a great walk with the two men I love the mostest.
