Sunday Sunday!

This is our wonderful son! Gavin loves his jump-jump and it works out great for us when we're getting ready for church. He jumps while we get ready. I was just getting out of the shower when I started to talk to him and laugh with him . He seemed extra happy this morning. I said, "Are you a happy boy, Are ya? Why you so happy?" I found out why....

Here is the closer look...he was jumping and smashing it into our carpet.

So I cleaned the floor and changed his onesies, his socks, his shoes and of course his pants.3 minutes later he barfed all over his shirt! Look at his right side.....his shirt is totally see-thru because it's soaked with spit up.

Take that mom!! You try to get me ready for church I'll just go again!! And so he did. All over his back and in his new pants. At that point I was laughing and Matt was like, "That a boy son!"

This is the changing table where he got his "stuff" all over the cover.
White..... not a good color to have.
So I finally said the heck with it and he went back into his jammies. He didn't seem to mind but really, 3 pairs of clothes in 5 minutes. You gotta be kidding me. Gavin, our wonderful son smiled thru the whole thing! Little stinker.

Yes it was a very eventful morning but we were still on time and Gavin was still smiling. I love being a mom.

Family Fun

On Saturday Aaron, April and Emily came down to Salem to drop of Mom's car. We decided to make a night of it. We took Gavin and Emily swimming. After swimming Emily wanted to show off her good side.

Gavin was drying off but caught a glimpse of his cousins little bottom....what was his reaction??

Whoa!!!! What was that?!

After swimming we went out to dinner and then Matt and Aaron played mini golf. We took the kids home because they were pretty tired. Emily drifted off right after a nice warm bottle.

Gavin was sleepy too. He just wanted to make sure he didn't catch a glimpse of his cousin in the nude again. It was a fun day.

Gavin James Rudolph

I think Gavin was going potty as I took the picture. Or.....as I was singing pop-corn popping on the apricot tree, he realized I was singing a bunch or lies. ("Popcorn? On an Apricot tree? Yeah sure...")

Sleeping in the car. Look at those cheeks. Definitely a hill family trait.

Sleeping, he was all over the place. I thought it was pretty funny.

Our sweet little guy. I love him so much it's ridiculous. If he were any less perfect....well he is perfect and that's that.

Sunday Walk

Our Happy little Son. These pictures were taken 2 weeks ago. We decided since it was nice out and Gavin was tired of being inside we would take a walk and deliver some bread I made to friends.

Gavin liked that idea.

So we started walking and this is Winston Scoobert. He follows me every time I go and get the mail. We walked to the corner of the street and I finally had to turn back, pick him up and put him inside or he would have followed us forever!!

Matt and Dad. Gavin looks thrilled. He had a good time.

Gavin's Johny Jumper

Grandma and I got Gavin his first Johny Jumper. Enjoy the quick video of him using it for the first time. Matt recorded it with his phone so sorry if it's not the best picture.

Such A sweet Boy

Yesterday was Sunday and we go to Church at 9:00. I love this time because we have the rest of the day to be together after church gets out. The only bad thing is Gavin goes down for a nap at 9:00. I thought this was going to be a hard issue for me to come to grips with. But he is such a good boy. When we got to church I cradled him and snuggled real close and he went right to sleep. I put him in his car seat and he was OUT! 2 Hours of lessons, people talking, singing, children laughing and running around, he just kept on sleeping. At 11:00 when it was time to eat I wanted to see how "out" he was so I picked his arm up then let go....... it dropped like a dead guy and he didn't even flinch. Seriously, if he wasn't snorting while breathing you would have thought he was dead. He is such a good boy. He did that all day. Awake and talking like crazy for two hours, then out like a light for two hours. I could not have asked for a happier, nor sweeter son.
The best part was giving him to dad in priesthood after he was done nursing. I went back into relief society, was enjoying the lesson only to see Matt 5 minutes later with Gavin, handing him back over to me. I had forgot to give daddy-o a spit up rag and Gavin had projectile vomited all over the place. Such a good boy!!!!
