So Matt, Gavin and I decided to take a nice walk today because it was beautiful out! Normally we walk around our neighborhood or somewhere close, but today we decided to go someplace new, to have some new surroundings. We drove over to Jory Hill Park which is about 5 miles from our house and started looking at the houses over there. It's really close in town but complete country-farm land. Absolutely beautiful because South Salem is of course, lots of rolling hills, tall tree's, and green grass.
As we turn the corner on this cute country road with homes on 2-5 acres we see a For Sale sign. Its on a paved drive lined with trees blossoming in pink, 3-4 houses total, all of course with 2-3 acres each. We turn down, then low and behold, on the end right-side sits our Dream House. Bam!!! There it is For Sale. Two-story brick with white trim and black shutters, all on 2.06 acres surrounded by trees and grass. It doesn't look really big but I guess it has over 3000 sq feet. It beautiful inside, really perfect..... and one of the best parts is has a chef's kitchen with a commercial sized gas range and hood. Oh be still my heart......
As we were turning around to leave, in the back corner spot there is a huge tree with a homemade swing before one of the open acres of grass. Oh my goodness how we love that house.
Sooooooo, if anyone wants to lend us 700,000 big ones, man that would be really helpful. I promise you can come stay anytime you want, ANYTIME!!!! Until then we'll just keep dreaming. :)
p.s. The pictures don't do it justice, but take a look if you want.

Hungry Little Man
Not a day goes by that this little man doesn't make me smile. He is so funny. I went to get the milk out of the fridge and when I turned around there he was. Just swooped right in and started playing with the eggs.
Totally going for it. Couldn't care less that I'm behind him trying to take pictures. In his own world.
This was taken on Sunday after he ate a fresh cookie. He thought it was a good idea to play the piano with his chocolaty fingers.
Look at him play! A natural musician.

First birthday!!!
Okay, Its been a really long time since I updated. I apologize, I have no good excuse except for the fact that life is crazy and we are loving every second of it. So here are some pictures of Gavin's First Birthday last Friday the 12th. I'm truly amazed at how fast this past year has gone by.
This is Gavin's B-Day set-up. Ashley, Jenilyn's daughter seems to like it. I wanted a personal cake just for him to go crazy on so I made one.....then a bunch of cup cakes for all the kidos..... And for the adults I made chocolate peanut-butter ice cream cake. Here's the big Birthday boy!!!
Trying, trying, trying to get him to eat something. He was starting to get really sick so our boy didn't want to have anything to do with food. I felt so bad for him.
Sitting with Grandpa before the party started. Grandpa knows how to make him feel better.

Happy but still not feeling well. Such a good boy though, a real trooper.
Birthday cake! Can you tell how excited we are? We had been looking forward to this for so long, and Gavin, well, he didn't seem to care. Look at Matt's face and hands. So cute.
Jenilyn put this all on his face. Poor sick little man.... he really didn't want anything to do with food. Our little guy puts up with so much being a member of our family. :)
They tried playing with it too, but he was more interested in feeding her and the other kids then eating it himself.
Aunt Sissa and Gavin hanging out. Can you tell how excited he is?! He went to bed right after everyone left and he slept so well.
This is Carmen and Molly, one of Gavin's best friends. I love this picture. They are so cute.
I love this picture because all the kids, ALL of them flocked over to Justen who is one of our best friends. He's single and doesn't have any kids but he handeled it very well.....after a little hyperventilation. :)
So besides Gavin getting sick his birthday went over really well. He got a ton of toys and clothes. Our friends and family were so thoughtful and generous. We feel so grateful for such wonderful people in our lives.
