Lovin every minute of it!

To be honest, we've been really busy over the last month, but at the same time, we've just been living life as normal. Things are going great and we are trying to stop and love every minute of it. Over the past three weeks we went to the beach for our besties birthdays, to Portland for my 27th, (ugh) and spent a wonderful weekend just with each other for Mothers Day. I took a ton of pictures but here are a few to get us up to date. Sorry that some are not set-up properly. I got a wonderful new lap top for my birthday from some dear friends and am still trying to work out all the kinks. Hopefully by the next post you wont have to tilt your head side ways too look. Sorry. :)

When we first got to the coast we drove around and looked for a hotel we wanted to stay at. It was really spontaneous and fun for us. Gavin of course loved the ocean and thought it was very mesmerizing.

This was taken by our friends. It was suppose to be warm but at this point it was really windy and cold. Gavin didn't seem to notice as much as I did. It was extremly beautiful.

Ok, here's one of the many pics on its side. Sorry. We took Gavin to the Aquarium for the first time. He really enjoyed it. Looking at all the fish and other sea animals was quite entertaining for him.

Trying to grab the king crag. That thing was huge!!!!

When we first walked into the tunnel with all the fish and then into the Shark tunnel, Gavin just stopped before entering and looked up for like 45 seconds with his arms up. It was so funny. He was on overload for visual stimulation. It probably took about a minute until he finally walked in.

With daddy pointing out all the sharks. Gavin really did love this tunnel, but I'm going to have to say Matt loved it just as much!

Here they are, my boys..... us being great parents and letting Gavin play with sharks. :)

After we saw all the exhibits we stopped to play for a while, us adults, and took some pictures. It was so funny, we took a ton but I'll only post a few. Some we out of control!
Gavin must think we're crazy.

Yeah, that turtle looks weird, its not just the picture. Gavin liked him though.

Documenting our wing span. After we took these, a bunch of girls saw us doing it so they took some too, only they faced forward so they could get their faces in the pictures.....Yeah, we're smart.

Wish this were right side up. Aunt Sissa helping Gavin do his.

This was when we got home. It was so nice out so we filled his pool up with warm water from the house and let him play. He loved it. Seriously, this kid is just like his daddy. A total fish.

Ah yes, sooo photogenic. What a funny kid!

We got him all dry, dressed, and warm then watched Monsters vs. Aliens. He literally sprawled out on Matt and stayed for the first 35 minutes of the movie right here like this.

This is Mothers Day morning, I know, I know, HIS HAIR!!! I'm not ready to cut it, so say and think what you want, but its not happening.

Showing off his awesome sidekick jammies. These are my favorite jammies he has. Still a little too big, but so darn cute in them.

Getting up close and personal to show his love to his mom. This was right after I got served my breakfast in bed, with a letter from Matt and Gavin, and my mothers Day gift. "Gavin" got me a massage. He knows me so well. ;)
I had a great Mothers Day, and am so happy to be his mom.

  1. You know Kristi having it be your 27th birthday is not so bad. Just wait till it is your 30th. Thats What I got to celebrate this year. Your son is so cute. Don't worry about his hair. Alex's hair is like that and I am not ready to cut it either.
